  • Key Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of statutory and legal requirements and ensure proper communication to all employees;
    • Participates in the annual operating budget preparation; ensures adequate provision is made to fund all planned activities; monitors the performance against the approved budget;
    • Ensures staying up to date with regard to Labor Law and NSSF rules and regulations;
    • Ensures problem solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance between managers and employees;
    • Prepares Offer Letters, Contracts and Salary Certificates;
    • Maintains, updates and provides the data and information related to the organization chart (i.e. post levels, salaries, structure, etc…);
    • Ensures that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations;
    • Handles the payroll process, employee benefits; ensures proper documentation;
    • Prepares and executes taxes and payment of employee benefits;
    • Prepares Increment & Promotion letters and updates appropriate details in employee records;
    • Monitors adherence of employees to attendance and leaves; updates the leave balances and reports the data as needed;
    • Supervises the application of the company Internal Regulations and ensures that information is received by all new hires;
    • Oversees the proper workflow of NSSF and Medical insurance tasks;
    • Prepares and submits reports as needed on personnel matters and updates;
    • Follows up of judicial verdicts for employees.

About the Candidate

We are seeking a competent professional for the position of Head Of Compensation & Benefits in Lebanon.

The Head Of Compensation & Benefits will be responsible for the Compensation and Benefits function for the company and its affiliated companies in addition to monitoring all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization’s payroll processing objectives, including relationships with external auditors, as well as ensuring the implementation of personnel programs as per the Labor Law.

The selected candidate will plan, develop and implement new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices. He / She will also be responsible for ensuring that the company’s compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

The position reports to the Chief HR & Administration Officer.


  • Core Mandatory Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or any related field;
    • An MBA or a Master degree is a plus;
    • HR certifications are a plus.

  • Experience:
    • A minimum of five years of experience in employee compensation & benefits;
    • A minimum of one year of experience managing subordinates.

  • Professional Knowledge and Skills:
    • Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations;
    • Knowledge of all state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation;
    • Comprehensive Knowledge in Employee Labor Law and NSSF Law;
    • Excellent command of HRIS;
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data 
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel;
    • Fluent in Arabic and English.
