Christine Assouad is a serial entrepreneur with 28 years of experience launching and scaling businesses in the Food & Beverage industry, including Dunkin’ Lebanon, Semsom, and more. She also serves as a strategy advisor and board member, supporting growth, franchising, and business development across multiple markets in the Middle East, Europe, and beyond.
A passionate mentor, Christine has guided thousands of leaders, particularly women, through one-on-one coaching, group communities such as The Empowering Tribe, and leadership programs with leading organizations.
She also founded the Tribe Fund, investing in Lebanon-based entrepreneurs.
Christine is a graduate of AUB, McGill University, ESA, and Harvard Business School.
An active member of YPO, she has served on both local and regional boards and is currently the Global Chair of the Retail Network.
Recognized for her impact, she was named Middle East Businesswoman of the Year (2011), became a Culinary Institute of America fellow (2015), and appeared for seven consecutive years on Arabian Business and Forbes Middle East’s lists of the 100 Most Powerful Arab Women.
Beyond business, Christine is an adventurer at heart: the first Arab to reach the North Pole on a skydiving expedition (1996), with 389 jumps, visits to 81 countries, a former private pilot license, and a love for acrobatic flying and rally racing. Her greatest achievement, she says, is being a mother to two amazing daughters
